A friend of mine sent a message asking me to define the statement, "I love you." When I read that text message, a lot of things about love came into my mind that I couldn't arrange the things that I'm going to tell her. That's why I asked her to me some time to arrange my thoughts before I explain to her the definition of that sentence.
Let me first define the word, "love" because I believe that its meaning defines the said statement. According to 1 Corinthians 13:4-8a, "Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it does not dishonor others, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." (TNIV) This is how God defines love and I do believe in it. Love is unconditional.
Love:
is not equal to like/crush/infatuation/lust - kaya kapag sinabi sa'yo ng taong "I like you" or "I lust you (kung meron man)" hindi ibig sabihin nun mahal ka niya at kung sabihin niyang love ka niya kasi crush ka niya, aba, iharap mo 'yung verse sa taas para maliwanagan siya sa mga sinasabi niya.
does not require any criteria or standard. Walang hinihinging kapalit. "I love you because your beautiful and sexy kaya kapag losyang ka na wala na, it's over! " - love ba 'yan? Hindi. "Inaaway mo ko! Hindi na kita love!" - E, eto? Hindi rin.
is not only applicable to boy-girl relationships. Kahit sino pwede nating mahalin at sabihan ng i love you - pamilya, mga kaibigan, kapitbahay, at kahit kaaway natin.
Love is a commitment and the best example of love is the love of God.
It says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world (you and me) that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life." Kahit sobrang laki na ng kasalanan natin sa Kanya, kahit ilang beses natin Siyang tinalikuran andiyan pa rin siya para sa atin. He still loves us despite all these things that we've done.
My friends know that I super love to dance and I'm using that passion to serve God. I'm part of our dance ministry in church for 5 years already and I can feel that I'm one of the oldies already. The regular attendees of our practices today are all high school students and me? I'm OLD. haha. I'm already in 3rd year college this coming school year and that's why mom kept on convincing me to stop dancing. "Pang bata lang ang dance matanda ka na kaya sa music ministry ka na lang," mom said. huhu. I also play instruments and I've tried attending a training of the music ministry before but I was having a hard time. I think that God put me on the dance ministry. Honestly, I haven't been attending our dance practices and that makes me miss dancing. I hope and pray that I would be able to attend the practices and that we would start with training again because it's so cool and important! :) (The picture was taken last Sept. 05, 2008 - my birthday celebration :P)
I would like to share this video. I got this from youtube. A friend of mine posted the part 2 of this video in Plurk and out of boredom, I checked it out. It was a nice and funny video but it also made me realize that 50 centavos is not that valuable in the Philippines anymore. ('Yung iba nga nakikita ko tinatapon na lang 'yun eh. hmm.) Nagkaroon siya ng virus kaya nagpatulong ako sa friend ko na ireformat siya para maayos kaso hindi 'yun 'yung nangyari. :( Nareformat naman siya pero hindi na gumagana 'yung wifi at sleep niya parang dati. huhuhu. :( Nawala kasi 'yung CD niya so hindi ko mareformat ng maayos. NAKAKALUNGKOT! :(

Today is the clean-my-room day. :) Finally! hehe. :P
As usual, I threw away things that I don't need anymore and because of that I saw something. That was a letter for my best friend. I wrote that last May 13, 2008 so almost 1 year ng nasa akin hindi ko pa nabibigay sa kanya. haha. :P
I also cleaned the case of my guitar and what did I do after that? Got my guitar and played! :) I have not been using it for months already and it's out of tune already. haha. Tapos with matching kalawang pa 'yung strings. haha :P Tapos 'yung fingers ko sumakit agad halatang hindi na sanay tumugtog ng matagal. hehe.
After playing the guitar, I saw my badminton racket so I immediately opened the case and check if it still looks great. The body still looks like new BUT the grip is already sticky. EW! naglalagas na siya. So, I decided to remove it and just pretend that I'm playing in a badminton court. haha. I want to invite my friends and play but I couldn't because it's...recession? haha :P
I miss playing... I hope I could have time and MONEY to play! :P
I don't know what I'm going to share and I also don't know why I'm here, typing... Maybe I'm just bored or upset?... Hmm... There are many things that happened this day; - i woke up VERY early (6:30 a.m. is early, right?haha) to bring my nephew to the church for their VBS and report something that happened to him yesterday, - i borrowed my nani's globe broadband to try if it's fast at home and it was... not that fast pero okay na, - my restaurant is open even if i'm just staring on it, - my mom went inside my room...crying...she told me something very...disappoiniting? - my nephew got injured and he kept on crying while we were putting bandage on his arm (=<), - and etc.
dami noh? haha :P But... I couldn't tell the details because I don't know how...? ... because I feel bad.
